Leadership and career coaching for cybersecurity professionals
Cristina Magro
Executive Coach
Hi there!
I’m Cristina Magro, an EMCC Accredited Leadership and Career Coach specialised in working with cybersecurity professionals.
I began my cybersecurity career at the SANS Institute, earning two GIAC certifications (GISF and GSLC). Since 2019, I’ve supported cybersecurity leaders worldwide as they progress into senior roles, shift companies, or launch entrepreneurial paths.
In addition to my private practice, I am Head of Coaching for CAPSLOCK Cyber Education, where I coach new talent entering the industry. I also deliver training and workshops on a range of personal development and leadership topics and regularly speak at cybersecurity conferences as a keynote presenter.
“Cristina was consistent, tremendously helpful in providing written recaps of our sessions, areas of further focus, and always affirmation and encouragement which were powerful. I emerged from our sessions with the realization that I haven’t reached my peak. Now feeling balanced, empowered with tools and the ability to think strategically, I feel confidently ready to the next level of my career. The timing couldn’t be better as I recently transitioned from the familiarity of a global information technology and defense company to a senior leadership role at a startup. I have a clearer vision, good balance, and face with day with the excitement to add value.”

How can I help you?
Gain clarity and confidence in your cybersecurity career
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure about your next step, I help you cut through the noise and build a clear, strategic path forward. Together we create a career plan that feels aligned, achievable, and tailored to your strengths.
Build the confidence and mindset that drive high performance
Whether you’re dealing with impostor syndrome, self-doubt, or constant pressure, you’ll learn tools to think more clearly, trust yourself, and make decisions without spiralling. This is confidence you can use — not just a motivational boost.
Strengthen your communication skills across the business
Cybersecurity roles demand clear communication with executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders. I help you communicate with authority, influence decisions, and show up as a credible, confident voice in high-stakes conversations.
Develop emotional intelligence and resilience for high-pressure work
Cybersecurity can be intense. Coaching helps you understand your patterns, regulate your emotions, stay grounded during stress, and lead with emotional maturity. These are the skills that elevate careers.
Make smart, strategic decisions about your next role or direction
If you’re transitioning into leadership, stepping into a new cybersecurity role, or exploring entrepreneurship, I guide you through the decision-making and mindset shifts needed to move with clarity, intention, and confidence.
Create sustainable personal and professional growth
This isn’t quick-fix advice. You’ll build long-term habits, resilience, and self-awareness that support your growth both at work and in life, including how you manage stress, relationships, energy, and boundaries.
Lead with authenticity and leverage your strengths
Rediscover your strengths, values, and natural leadership style. Learn how to show up as yourself with presence, authority and ease.
Whatever your next goal — clarity, confidence, leadership, or career progression — coaching helps you get there faster, with less stress and more momentum.
